
Levain cookies
Ingredients
dried
- 250 grams of flour
- pinch of salt
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 140 grams of melted butter
- 140 grams of coconut or muscovado sugar
- 58 grams of sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 yolk
Additional features
- Chopped walnuts
- 80 grams of dark chocolate
Process
- In a bowl mix the dry ingredients.
- In another bowl, mix the butter with the sugar. Once mixed, add the egg first, mix and then the yolk and mix.
- Add the wet mixture to the dry bowl and stir.
- Add the nuts and chopped chocolate and mix again.
- Form large dough balls and refrigerate for at least 45 minutes before baking.
- Bake for 10-12 min at 200°C.
